Recently while working on VPCs I have seen this new option in amazon VPC. Resource-map provides an object map for VPC elements. Like below, it tells that my private and public subnet has route table association and if that route table has an external connectivity with igw or not. It is very useful information while troubleshooting because it gives very crucial data point. Many times we keep on guessing and checking if all object attachments are rightly configured , I am sure with Resource-map we can save some time.
